Commissions

Terms of Service

By commissioning me in any kind of way, you are agreeing to the following TERMS OF SERVICE below and you commit yourself to follow them.

General terms

– Client’s use and understanding –

  • The client agrees that the commission is for personal use only and does not have the right to reproduce the artwork for any profit whatsoever.
  • The client agrees to credit me as the original artist of the commissioned artwork.
  • The client does not hold the right to use the artwork in any AI technology nor blockchain-associated technology (NFT, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space).
  • The client will receive the full-size illustration by email as a digital file and without watermarks.

– Artist’s rights –

  • As the artist, I retain the copyright of the commissioned artwork.
  • As the artist, I reserve the right to decline your petition for any reason I see fit.
  • I reserve the right to use, publish and record the commissioned artwork and its process.
  • If commissioned for fanart of an existing series or franchise, I reserve the right to sell the artwork at any given point, such as in prints or in art books.
  • I will do my best, but the client should make sure that their order is suitable for my style. Please provide neat references and clear descriptions.
  • I have the right to cancel the commission at any time if the client is excessively or continuously rude, demanding, childish, or inappropriate. The client will not be refunded and will be blacklisted.

Payment & refunds

  • Payments must be full and upfront, through Paypal invoices only and in EUR.
  • If the sketch is made, only a 50% refund may be accepted.
  • Once the artwork reaches past the sketch phase, no refunds will be accepted, unless there is an incident on my part. This will not happen without the client’s approval.
  • The buyer pays the service charge (fee).

Commission process

  • The client shall provide as many visual references as possible, in order to optimise the understanding of their concept. Please be as clear as possible with the descriptions.
  • I will not take a request that doesn’t include any visual references.
  • Commissions are not first come first served.
  • You will receive an email when I get to your order. Your request will fall within one of these four cases: (1) I accept your order, (2) you enter the waitlist and I will start working on your commission once one of the slots get available, (3) the form you sent me was incomplete and I need you to fix that in order to accept the request, and (4) I have to decline your order because it involves drawing something that makes me feel uncomfortable, or falls outside of my skills.
  • I will start working on the illustration once the payment has been confirmed.
  • I will finish the work as soon as possible. I do not usually work with deadlines. The estimated waiting time will be from 1-6 weeks from the moment that the artwork is started. If the commission is for a birthday gift or such, I may accept to work with a deadline, but the cost will increase due to that. However, if the deadline is too short, I will have to decline your request.
  • The client will receive a sketch for approval. The client may request a maximum of 3 major changes to the sketch. There will be no chance for major changes (e.g. a change in the outfit, in the pose, the perspective, etc.) later in the process, so the client is responsible for being concise with the feedback. If the client is not satisfied with the sketch and desires to withdraw from the commission, they may request a 50% refund.
  • Once the artwork is finished, only minor adjustments will be allowed (hues, a wrong colour, small details, text variations and such).
  • The full piece will be delivered via email. The artwork is a digital good and will not be physically sent to the customer.
